BIO 2 Cotton candle holder with metal base ( 10 cm) is a high quality and practical solution for DIY candle making in glass and other candle holders. It is a pre-waxed candle wax ready for use and does not require any further preparation before use. The wax is made of natural cotton, interlaced with paper fibre to improve capillary wax transport to the flame. Thanks to this, the candle burns evenly, stably and with little smoke. Pre-immersion of the wax helps the wick to light more easily and keeps the burn even. The metal base attached to the wax allows the wick to be easily attached to the bottom of the candle pot and keeps it in a straight position during wax pouring. This is important for both the appearance of the candle and the quality of the burn. The 10 cm wick is suitable for candles of different heights. The wick can be trimmed before or after the candle is poured.

- shape of glass
For example: for Soy Wax, the same wick may be more suitable for a glass with a diameter of 5-5.5 cm, for paraffin wax it may be suitable for a glass up to 6 cm. In candlemakers’ practice, BIO 2 wicks are often used in small soy candle glasses, for making test candles, or for making travel candles or mini candles.
Recommendation: it is always worth carrying out a burn test, as perfume and wax can alter the intensity of the burn.
