KeraSoy Pillar 4120 is a high-quality vegetable Soy Wax for making molded candles, pillar candles, votive candles, decorative candles, and scented waxes. It has been specially developed for products that must retain their shape after hardening and be removable from the mold.
KeraSoy Pillar 4120 is made from Soy Wax and natural additives. The wax is vegan-friendly and biodegradable; it contains no animal-derived ingredients and has not been tested on animals.
One of the key advantages of this Soy Wax is that it releases easily from the mold. As the wax solidifies, it shrinks, making it easier to remove the finished candle or wax figure from the mold. This makes KeraSoy 4120 suitable for working with both simple pillar candles and more intricate silicone molds.

Using KeraSoy Pillar 4120
Melting: Melt the wax slowly and evenly. It is not recommended to heat the wax above 85–90 °C or to keep it at a high temperature for an extended period of time.
Candle dye: If desired, add oil-soluble candle dye to the melted wax and mix thoroughly.
Fragrance oil: The recommended concentration of fragrance oil is 5–8%, up to a maximum of 10%. Add the fragrance oil at a temperature of at least 70 °C and mix thoroughly. Always follow the recommended usage amount for the specific fragrance oil and the IFRA restrictions.
Pouring: The recommended pouring temperature is 55–65 °C. The exact temperature depends on the size and material of the mold, the fragrance oil, the color, and the room temperature.

Important to know
KeraSoy Pillar 4120 is primarily intended for making candles and wax figures that can be removed from their molds. For making Glass Candle Jars and other container candles, we recommend using the softer KeraSoy Container 4130 Soy Wax.
Natural Soy Wax may crystallize—a process known as “frosting”—and may exhibit minor visual variations. These characteristics are typical of plant-based wax and do not indicate that the wax is of poor quality.
For best results, always test a specific combination of wax, fragrance oil, color, mold, and shape before making a larger batch.
