Zeni SLS Free White is a high quality and intensely white melting soap paste for handmade soaps. Its high coverage makes it ideal for creating pastel shades, design soaps and detailed shapes.
The soap is SLS-free, which means it does not contain the strong detergent Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. The soap is gentle on the skin, yet lathers well and provides a pleasant experience. The product does not contain any animal ingredients and has not been tested on animals.
The relatively slow setting of the paste makes it an excellent choice for high detail soaps. The very strong adhesion of the layers (by spraying alcohol over them) helps to create multi-layered soaps. The soap mass shrinks less, which is an important advantage for long-term storage and packaging.
When tinting with Zenicolor colours, the manufacturer recommends mixing approximately 70% Zen SLS Free Clear and 30% Zen SLS Free White to achieve a good shade without wasting too much dye.

How to make soap?
It’s easy to make soap from ready-made soap mix:
- Cut the mass into cubes (1-3 cm).
- Melt the cubes in a hot water bath at 65-70°C or in a microwave (approx. 400-500 W).
- Do not let the temperature exceed 75°C.
- Avoid boiling.
3. Add aromas and colours.
- Recommended amount of fragrance oils or essential oils: 10-20 g/kg.
- You can find the maximum amount of fragrance oil allowed under the relevant IFRA category of fragrance oil – always follow the limits set by IFRA.
- Add the colourant drop by drop until the desired result is achieved.
- Shea butter, cocoa butter, almond oil, coconut oil or olive oil can also be added to skin care products if desired. Usually not more than ~15 g/kg is recommended to prevent the soap from becoming too soft. Mix all the additives into the soap mixture and make sure that all the additives are well mixed into the soap mixture.
4. Pour into the mould and leave to set (about 20-40 min).
On average, 1 kg of soap paste can be used to make about 10 medium-sized soaps. We recommend packaging the finished soap in a film after removing it from the mould to avoid evaporation of moisture.
