What makes us the most special is our UFI Green certified fragrance oils collection, which ensures the highest safety and environmental standards. We are proud to be the exclusive distributor of Aspoli fragrance oils in Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Latvia.
From 1 January 2025, EU law will apply , which means that all chemical mixtures used in the cosmetics or fragrance industries must be subject to a harmonised PCN (Poison Centres Notification). This means that if a product is sold in EU countries, the companies responsible must provide the European Poison Centres with information on the composition, hazards and use of the chemical used in the product. From now on, all new and existing products will have to comply fully with this new requirement.
To put it very simply, if a customer buys a product from an online shop, store or marketplace that contains a fragrance oil (such as a candle), this new law means that all finished products must be pre-registered with the European Centre for Health and Safety at Work (ECHAS). In order to ensure their safety, the manufacturer will have to provide accurate information on their composition and potential hazards. This will help keep people and the environment safe.
Is it all too complicated?
Yes, it is a complicated and time-consuming process, and that’s why we have made life easier for manufacturers.
To simplify production, you can download the Soy Leather Candle Safety Sheets (SDS) and CLP sticker designs (labels) for each fragrance oil for FREE, and you don’t have to generate and report the UFI code in the PCN or register your product with ECHAS.
- Choose a fragrance oil from our online shop that is marked with a UFI GREEN level.
Each fragrance oil has a UFIGREEN use level, or threshold, indicating the maximum safe amount of fragrance oil for candles or home fragrances (e.g. Baccarat 39%). - Choose a health and environmentally neutral wax, e.g. soy wax, labelled UFI GREEN.
A health and environmentally neutral wax is one that does not contain substances classified as hazardous. - Download the free Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for the candle with the dosage level you have chosen and save it on your computer.
In the Fragrance Oil product description you will find free Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for soy candles (3 dosage levels 6%, 8% or 10%). - Download a sticker to stick on the candle with pictograms, hazard statements and a list of allergens. Don’t forget to add your company details and candle wax weight before printing!
Please note! – the sticker does not have the UFI code – because the UFI GREEN logo confirms that the finished product does not need to be registered with ECHAS and is closely linked to the product safety data sheet.
What if I have selected a fragrance oil with the UFI READY logo?
If the fragrance oil you have selected has the UFI READY logo, it can also be used in the production of scented candles.
Follow the 4 steps above (like UFI GREEN) and you will find free Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for soy candles in the description of each fragrance oil product.
Please note! – the sticker bears the UFI code and hazard pictograms!
Can I use ASPOL fragrance oils in home fragrances?

What does UFI GREEN mean?
“UFIGREEN” is an abbreviation for “Unique Formula Identifier Green,” which is related to the labelling of chemicals and hazardous substances in the European Union. It is a special identifier developed under the Chemicals Regulation, also known as the CLP (Classification, Labelling, and Packaging) Regulation.
UFI Green is a special code used in the European Union to identify environmentally friendly chemicals and hazardous substances. This 16-digit code helps to quickly and accurately identify products that meet certain safety and environmental requirements. UFI Green aims to make the use of chemicals safer and more transparent for consumers and industry alike.
UFI Green aims to promote greener products and to make the safety and management of chemicals simpler and more transparent for consumers and industry alike.
What is UFI READY and what is the difference between it and UFI GREEN?
UFI Ready means that a product or system is technically ready to use the UFI code needed to accurately identify chemicals in accordance with EU safety requirements.
UFI Green, on the other hand, refers to products that are designed or labelled to meet the requirements for environmental friendliness or lower risk.
The main difference: UFI Ready focuses on the technical readiness for use of the UFI code, while UFI Green focuses on the level of safety and environmental friendliness of the product.
The CLP Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008) is a rule that helps to identify and communicate the hazards of chemicals. It requires that all chemical products (substances and mixtures) sold in the EU must be correctly labelled and packaged. The labels have special warnings and pictures (pictograms) to show how dangerous the product is. The CLP Regulation is based on the UN system to ensure the safe use of chemical products and facilitate their sale worldwide.
