Shea butter is saponified with NaOH and originates from Ghana. The unrefined shea butter gives the soap a slightly yellowish tint and a delicate nutty fragrance.  <\/p>\n<p>Shea butter soap base solidifies quickly, which makes it particularly suitable for large-scale production and fast demoulding. The very strong adhesion of the layers (by spraying with alcohol) allows the creation of multi-layered and detailed soaps. Less weight shrinkage is an important advantage for long-term storage and packaging.  <\/p>\n<p>The soap is <strong>SLS-free,<\/strong> which means it does not contain the strong detergent Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. The soap lathers richly, is gentle on the skin and contains no animal ingredients. The product has not been tested on animals.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Main features<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contains 2% unrefined shea butter<\/li>\n<li>Slight yellowish hue and natural nutty aroma<\/li>\n<li>Rapid solidification<\/li>\n<li>Rich foaming<\/li>\n<li>Gentle sensation on the skin<\/li>\n<li>Very strong layer adhesion<\/li>\n<li>Less shrinkage<\/li>\n<li>SLS-free (for delicate skin)<\/li>\n<li>Not tested<strong>on animalsComponents<\/strong>\n<p>Glycerine, Aqua, Sodium Stearate, Mono Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laurate, Sodium Laurethsulfate, Sorbitol, Saponified Shea Butter, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Sodium Chloride, Tetrasodium EDTA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to make soap?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s easy to make soap from ready-made soap mix:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cut the mass into cubes (1-3 cm).<\/li>\n<li>Melt the cubes in a hot water bath at 65-70\u00b0C or in a microwave (approx. 400-500 W).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not let the temperature exceed 75\u00b0C.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid boiling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3. Add aromas and colours.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recommended amount of fragrance oils or essential oils: 10-20 g\/kg.<\/li>\n<li>You can find the maximum amount of fragrance oil allowed <strong data-start=\"1559\" data-end=\"1578\">under the<\/strong> relevant <strong data-start=\"1559\" data-end=\"1578\">IFRA category<\/strong> of fragrance oil &#8211; always follow the limits set by IFRA.<\/li>\n<li>Add the colourant drop by drop until the desired result is achieved.<\/li>\n<li>Shea butter, cocoa butter, almond oil, coconut oil or olive oil can also be added to skin care products if desired. Usually not more than ~15 g\/kg is recommended to prevent the soap from becoming too soft. Mix all the additives into the soap mixture and make sure that all the additives are well mixed into the soap mixture.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>4. Pour into the mould and leave to set (about 20-40 min).<\/p>\n<p>On average, 1 kg of soap paste can be used to make about 10 medium-sized soaps.
